Known locally as the Historic Harris or Wilson Home - The oldest part of the house was built in 1866 and fronted on Main Street. It was moved to its current location in the 1930s to make way for additional commercial space at the top of Main. The house had several additions. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is home to the Fort Mill History Museum.

The Fort Mill Times reported on April 14, 1910 - "W.F. Harris and Sons have added an automobile to their livery stables. The machine was secured by a rather unique trade with a Lancaster dealer, five horses being exchanged for it."
