Frosty Witherspoon's Men's Shop
217 Main Street

2017 - Local Dish restaurant

Looking up Main Street this establishment is on the left with the striped awning.  Notice the telephone poles still on Main St

Proprieter Frosty Witherspoon may have learned the retail trade working for Belk Brown, but it was his men's store in this space that people remember as being the best place for dressing a proper gentleman in later years. Prior to Witherspoon's acqusition of the business, it was owned by Ernest Rochelle Patterson and known simply as the "Men's Shop."
